Founder
For the past 14 years Marisol Cunningham has offered a quality care program to provide a nurturing and emotionally secure environment to help children develop to their fullest potential.
Through Bernal Babies she has dedicated herself to focus on the whole child's development; social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth.
Bernal Babies was established in Marisol's childhood home at Precita in Bernal Heights.

She started her career in childcare at Bright Horizons Preschool for 2 years before the opening of Bernal Babies. She studied early child development, infant & toddler CPR, first aid, infant health, child safety, and nutrition.
As a mother she understands the importance of supporting children in a caring way. She hopes to give the children a beautiful start in life with love for all her Bernal Babies.

Philosophy
Bernal Babies Child Care believes that each child brings values, language and customs to the program. That is why we support and enhance the child’s development by reflecting developmentally appropriate practices and positive guidance relating to the physical, emotional, cognitive, language and moral development. Working in partnership with the child’s parents is very important to us, together we can promote the growth and development of your child.
We provide an environment that helps each child feel loved, nurtured and secure, while at the same time the environment will encourage and enhance their desire for learning through play. It is our belief that ultimate learning at a young age takes place in a setting that is filled with opportunities for discovery.
